7? No way!

Dear Landon,

Tomorrow you turn 7 and this I can't believe. You are growing up right before my eyes and always remind me of how BIG you are. Although I act like its not ok with me, it really is. I want you to grow up and become the amazing man that I know you will. 7 is hard for me, it seems so BIG and I can already see your independence growing. The past 7 years have been my favorite years ever. You were the child who brought you dad and I into parenthood. You've got our clan off to a great start! You're a great big brother and although this wasn't an easy transition you've handled it pretty well. You show Mason new things and help him and he looks up to you. You are a leader and I pray God continues to mold you in that role as big brother. You have always been a funny kid and still to this day make me laugh at the goofy things you come up with. You are also very sensitive and although this is annoying sometimes I know its a quality I and many people will appreciate someday. Your not afraid to express you feelings ;) Continue to be who you are cause you make this world a better place and I wouldn't change a thing. Know that I love you, will fight for you and always be here for you. Landon I love you more than you know. Happy 7th Birthday to my BIG boy!

 

Party Planning

Im sorry I have not blogged in a while. I blog from my phone and I can not find a good app. So im trying out some new ones in hopes I find one I like! Im so excited to be planning Landon's 7th birthday party (Wow 7? Thats hard to believe) he chose a Ninja Turtle theme so I've been busy pinning ideas like crazy! Here are some i'm hoping to do! Its will be sooo fun!

Sewing for baby girl!

I've been dying to make my soon to come niece a dress and finally got the material and made one and it turned out soo cute!

Christmas

The boys were so excited Christmas morning to open presents! They were both so surprised by their big gifts from Santa. They haven't stopped playing since Christmas! This was a fun year because Mason really got the idea and could open his presents by himself. We had a great Christmas!

Cookie Crazy!

This weekend, and every year before Christmas, my mom and I get together and bake several kinds of cookies to give as gifts for the families I work for and to take to our family Christmas gatherings. This is such a fun time to spend with just me and my mom. A memory I'll never forget and one I'll cherish forever. This year we made probably 10 different kinds and it took us 8 hours to make them all. I was so tired afterwards lol.

My sweet little friends!

I've mentioned before I watch children out of my home. I just love it so much and have such a sweet group of kids. I truly grow so attached and hate when they grow up and don't get to come anymore. Here are the cuties I get to spend my days with and the playmates Mason gets to enjoy his days with!

And so it begins!

The holiday season is here and we are off to a slow start. I'm such a last minute shopper and on black Friday we purchased the boys big gifts and that's all I've gotten so far :/ But we got a good deal on both things so I'm happy about that!

For Mason we got him a power wheel that he is going to love!

                                                                               
As for Landon, well a few months ago he dropped his most favorite toy in the toilet (dont ask why he had it in the bathroom) his nintendo 3DS. So he's getting a new one!

So even though this is all I've bought I think I'll have two very happy boys!
